This is a very exciting time, and we are anxiously awaiting puppies. Normally, we would never plan two litters at the same time, but as fate would have it, this was the way it worked out. The first litter was born on November 23, 2009. This litter is by CH Telltail Like A Rolling Stone, “Mick” and out of Sydney, CH Kingsbury’s It’s My Alias NAC TN-N We have 2 beautiful boy puppies, one brindle and one red. The sire, Mick, is a beautiful young dog with a promising future ahead of him and a real presence in the ring. He was Winners Dog from the Bred-by class at the CWCCA National Specialty in 2009 under breeder-judge Jon Kimes. Mick went on to win Best of Opposite Sex at the specialty, competing against most of the top-ranked specials in the breed. What a thrill for Paula and Telltail! Structurally, I am looking for beautiful, correct fronts from these two parents who both have lovely, correct Cardigan fronts, good substance, toplines and hopefully good rears, too! Mick at the National Specialty Sydney in August '09 Our second litter is due about December 5, 2009. This litter is by CH Telltail T For Two, “Smarty” and out of Breezy, Kingsbury’s Cover Girl. As far as we know from Smarty’s history, this brindle to red match should produce only brindles. Time will tell, and I would be thrilled to see reds in this litter also. Smarty has proven to be a very successful producer, siring some lovely Cardigans. Aside from the success of his offspring, Smarty is a consistent producer, providing lovely bone, and good rears, among other things. Smarty Breezy
